Our associate Elissa A. Perkins, Esq., was thrilled to participate in Career Day/Read Across America in New Brunswick. She spoke about life as a lawyer and presented a mock trial – The Case of the Missing Puppy – to three elementary school classes at the Livingston School. The kids really enjoyed participating in the trial, and did a great job analyzing the facts of the case.

Partner Patricia E. Apy, Esq. helped to present the “International Child Custody Issues” panel at this year’s New Jersey State Bar Association Family Law Symposium. Ms. Apy spoke to approximately 700 attorneys on the use of protective orders to prevent international child abduction, the International Child Abduction Prevention and Recovery Act, and the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction.
